I recently started commuting around Washington DC on my bike and sorely needed a helmet with all the (insane) traffic. I was looking for a helmet that was functional, but didn't look lame. My first helmet purchase was a Bern Brentwood, which ended up sitting really high on my head. I returned it after my roommate laughed at the giant forehead the Brentwood seemed to give me. This Nutcase helmet was my second choice and has worked out wonderfully. The helmet sits well on my head and the strap mechanism is GENIUS. Unfortunately, the "ear holes" in the strap don't quite clear my ears on one side, but it's a small annoyance I've gotten used to. The helmet breathes fairly well for this style, but is significantly hotter than expensive road bike helmets with the crazy vents. So, understand that you will be trading style for some extra heat. Personally, I don't mind since I've never owned a helmet that didn't make me sweat on a hot day.
